It's Been a While

This blog has been all but abandoned for almost five years! Well, a lot has changed since then.

I went to school for a year to enhance my bookkeeping skills, I worked in a bookkeeping job that wasn't quite the right fit for my life and expectations at that time for the next year, then I worked in the school system for a year before I returned to my 'home'. I reopened my daycare in September, 2012. I haven't looked back.This is where I am meant to be right now.

I devote most of my after-daycare-hours writing to a private blog for my daycare families. I work with some amazing parents who look forward to looking at their child's day through my camera and the little stories and descriptions about our day, so I am pretty faithful with a daily post there. And that is where the majority of my current daycare musings (and energy) go at the end of my day.

But I have forgotten neglected this spot here and I have evolved and grown with each day in my Daycare 2.0. I have gained a renewed insight and I will (try to) remember to come back to this spot to reinforce what I keep learning as I go along.
